Tapped Apple Winery is a distinctively new adventure in wine tasting! For an intimate and immersive experience, our tasting room is nestled among the fermenting and aging tanks. Tapped Apple wines are lovingly hand crafted in small batches, to ensure the ultimate in freshness, quality and flavor. The apples for our wine are carefully nurtured and harvested by hand at Sunset Orchard in North Scituate RI. Tapped Apple Winery is a family business run by John Wiedenheft III, his two sons, John IV and Matt, and longtime family friend Adam Mercer. We have been making wines for the enjoyment of family and friends for over 10 years. As our hand-crafted wines grew in popularity, we were encouraged to turn our passion into a business. The inspiration to make wine from apples brought a vision for a winery that was anything but conventional. If you are looking for a fun and unique experience in wine, come and taste for yourself!
