The Maddie Potts Foundation

Maddie Potts was 17, a senior at Chariho High School, a 3 sport athlete, captain of her teams and female athlete of the year when she died on the soccer field on 9/23/17 of a ruptured brain aneurysm. Maddie's Foundation was started shortly after her death to carry on her legacy of kindness, compassion, inclusive leadership and trust, characteristics now known as "Maddie Mentality." Her Foundation gives scholarships, supports unified athletics and others with disabilities, helps offset funeral costs of others who have lost a child acutely, supports Hasbro Children's hospital, increases brain aneurysm awareness and is currently constructing a 3000 sq ft field house at her school.
