The Kingston Chamber Music Festival (KCMF) will celebrate its 36th season in the summer of 2024. The two-week festival brings renowned musicians together with young, rising artists to perform seven exciting concerts in Edwards Auditorium at the University of Rhode Island. KCMF also presents special concerts and events in varied settings throughout the year.

The Wakefield Concert Band, South Kingstown’s own Community Band, formed in 1894, and has evolved in countless ways through it’s over 100 year history!  We are a dedicated group of professional and serious amateur musicians from South Kingstown as well as other parts of Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut. We perform for many town functions, (Tree Lighting, Memorial Day, Riverfire), as well as our own Holiday and Spring Concerts at SKHS, and our 6-concert outdoor 'Summer Series by the Sea!'

From classical music, to jazz, pop, and traditional marches, we feature different facets of our multi-talented ensemble, as we perform Sprightly Marches, Patriotic Songs, Broadway Show Tunes, and Rock & Jazz favorites that will keep your toes tapping, and put a smile on your face!
