Conanicut Marine Services (CMS) is the parent company to Jamestown Newport Ferry, Coastal Queen Cruises and the Conanicut Gift Shop. The base of operations is in Jamestown and Newport, R.I. The Conanicut Gift Shop, located at 20 Narragansett Avenue in Jamestown, has a large assortment of men's and women's clothing and shoes, Jamestown-themed merchandise, beach gear and the best gift items. Just down the street from it at 1 East Ferry Wharf, is the Jamestown Newport Ferry operation and its number one port stop. The ferry’s Hop-On Hop-Off service features the All-Day Pass so folks can explore the five stops, Jamestown, Rose Island Lighthouse and Newport's Fort Adams, Ann Street Pier and Perrotti Park all day long. Check out the Explore & Save Partner program where ferry riders can show their same-day ferry ticket for discounts and perks at participating local restaurants, shops and experiences. Also departing from the ferry hub in Jamestown is the spacious tour boat Coastal Queen for its Special Event Cruises. These cruises may feature music or musicians, a beer or wine tasting, or other live entertainment. Coastal Queen’s daily operations depart on the other side of the bay from Bowen’s Wharf, Newport. The Lighthouse and Mimosa Cruise and the Scenic Bay Cruise include a narrated boat tour of the Newport Harbor and the lower Narragansett Bay area. On the more casual side, with no narration, is the Evening Cocktail Cruise where a themed “drink of the night” is included in the price of the cruise. Reservations are required.
